Located at the entrance of Waikiki, the Waikiki Gateway Hotel is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and parks. This hotel is only a few minutes walk to the white sands of Waikiki beach. The Waikiki Gateway Hotel offers a free daily continental breakfast, free high speed Internet access, free discounts to surrounding restaurants and activities, fine dining, comfortable accommodations and a warm friendly staff possessing true aloha spirit. This hotel is perfectly located on the Ewa (North side of Waikiki in the newly developed "King Kalakaua District."
This hotel is 17 stories high with 186 guest rooms. The rooms all have a full bath with shower, small refrigerator with ice box, in room safe, lanai with view of Waikiki and mountains, color television with Lodgenet (pay movie channels and Nintendo, new carpet and air conditioning. The building is shaped like an "A" so the larger sized rooms are on the lower floors. Guests will start their day in the breakfast room located on the sixteenth floor with a spectacular view of the Koolau Mountains. There they'll enjoy their morning coffee, tea, juice and pastries served daily with true aloha spirit. On the fourth floor there is a swimming pool, and a coin operated laundry and nail/facial salon near the pool. Guests will find the locally well known "Nick's Fishmarket Restaurant" located in the lobby. This hotel is a great choice convenient to the beach, dining, shopping and attractions.

Please Note: Hours of spalding work are from 9am 5pm. There will be drilling, hammering, scaffolders and dust during this time.
The Waikiki Gateway pool is also closed for renovation throughout the month of September, 2005. During this period, guests may access the pool at the Ambassador Hotel which is located across the street. Guests need to bring their own pool towels that are supplied at the Gateway's Housekeeping Department. Guests are also required to show their room key at the Ambassador Hotel's front desk before entering the pool area.
